... but first let me set the mood ... (insert cheesy romance music here!)
Two of the most important things to know about me are this:
1. I LOVE TO SNACK, basically my whole life is just one giant snaccident.
2. I LOVE GUMMY BEARS! Growing up as a kid I was not super big on sweets, I practically hated Ice cream, was not a fan of cakes or pies, or even chocolate for that matter... but gummies were a different story. Let me tell you I could eat bags and bags. It wasn't until I got older and decided to be more conscious of what I put in my body that I realized just how bad they were for me. The back of that label is not a feel good one.... so I broke my own heart and gave them up. Well y'all I'm bringing back the gummies minus all that yucky junk that comes along with them.
Alright y'all Lets do this and craft up some yummy and very much good for you gummies!
❤ I think I shall call him Henry ❤
Here is what you will need.
- 1 small pack of Jello (8.5g). I used Line for this one.
- 1 pack / tablespoon of unflavored gelatin
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 stick of REHYDRATE. Click Here for Rehydrate I used fruit punch. This is the most IMPORTANT part.
Lastly you will need a mold/tray and dropper like the one I have pictured above. I got mine from Amazon Click Here or you can just pour into a bowl to set.
Now to get down to business. The best part is this only takes about 5-ish minutes.
(my attention span is short just like my height, which is why I need just about instant gratification in the kitchen)
- Pour 1/2 cup of water into your sauce pan. Set to low heat.
- Add your package of jello, unflavored gelatin, and your stick of REHYDRATE.
- Mix on low heat until all are dissolved into liquid, then remove from heat.
- Using the dropper add the liquid to your tray. Pro Tip: try to avoid getting bubbles in your dropper.
- Place in fridge for 30 minutes or until solidified.
Once they are hard you can pop them out from the tray as pictured above and enjoy!
TADA! Lions. Penguins. Chimps. Bears. Worms. Basically its a gummy zoo up in this kitchen.
A little birdy once told me that these little wild
creatures go great with a dab or two Reddi Wip,
but like I said that is just word on the street.
Have fun and enjoy this healthy zoo.
As always tag me! I adore seeing your posts and comments.
